Meet our team
Bob was born in Pittsburgh, PA, before moving to Atlanta, GA. He met his wife, Carol, at Chamblee High School. Bob graduated from Auburn University with a degree in hospitality in 1982. He spent the next two decades working with Marriott and Club Corp.
In 2003, Bob joined JP Horizons to pursue his passion for helping leaders grow both personally and professionally. For over twenty years, he has worked extensively with businesses as a People Solutions coach, delivering impressive leadership results throughout various organizations. Bob's unique ability to help individuals reach their potential and enhance company performance stems from his passion for people and effective communication. Bob is a grandfather to five grandchildren under five.
With his new company, Ascend Leadership Consulting, Bob aims to elevate this fulfilling work to new heights.
Bob coulter
Brad grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta. Coach Coulter graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education in Social Studies and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in History.
He taught high school social studies at Cambridge High School for ten years. In 2019, Brad was named Teacher of the Year for his school and the Northwest Learning Community of Fulton County. He concluded his teaching career in 2024 as the Social Studies Department Chair. At Cambridge, he was the Head Cross Country Coach and Distance Track Coach, leading the cross-country team to win six state titles. He continues to coach at Cambridge today. Brad has two young children Bradley and Beckett.
In partnership with Bob, he co-founded Ascend, an organization that elevates leadership in coaching.
Brad coulter
Carol was born in Savanah, GA, and moved to Atlanta, where she met Bob in high school. She graduated from Auburn University with a degree in elementary education and worked in risk management for many years before returning to the education field.
She raised two children, Kristen and Brad. Her passions include giving back to the community, fitness, and being a wonderful grandmother to her five young grandchildren.
She founded the company with Bob and Brad at the beginning of 2024 and manages the administration for Ascend Leadership Consulting.
